As the title suggests, I believe football is one of the most boring sports if we exclude golf and Basketball. I mean, I do have fun playing it every know and again. But watching it on the television is one of the worst experiences in my life. I don't care for any teams. And all it is is someone running a few feet, tackled. Then a minute to reorganize everything just for fifteen more seconds before someone gets tackled.
I could get the appeal of playing this. I do have fun, as I stated earlier, playing it once in a while. But watching it on the Television is a terribly boring thing. You're not actively apart of the sport. You're watching others do it, for such small amounts of time. There's no excitement as you pass the ball to a friend, juke out someone on another team. Or just tackle the shit out of someone. It's not a sport like Baseball where you can have fun simply watching it. Sports like Baseball, Hockey, and dare I say even boxing are fun to watch because well, action and excitement goes on. The entire experience isn't missed by not playing, I'm sure it's amplified by playing. But it's still a rewarding sight to see someone get checked into the side of the court, or thrown on their ass in a fight.
