take a look at the dbz-naruto playbook:

  1. Naruto/Sasuke-Goku/Vegeta: enemies at first, tried multiple times to kill each other. ultimately gained respect in battle, decided that they should fight on the same side because it benefits both

  2. Fusion, only because they were forced to in battle: naruto/sasuke combined kyuubi/susano similar to goku/vegeta fusion

  3. "mind/body transfer" used by villain: Madara uses black zetsu to control obito, Captain Ginyu uses mind transfer on Goku

  4. Overhyped rival battles in which the outcome doesn't really matter because there are bigger problems at hand:naruto/sasuke-majin vegeta/goku

  5. The theme of "everyone helps defeat the villain together", even though one person fights most of the battles. naruto being superior to the shinobi alliance- goku being superior to the z-fighters

  6. The main character being the one to stand for justice and peace. also having a silly side, with an open mind to always learn more techniques. The main character also gets power-ups when friends' lives are at stake or have been lost : naruto-goku

  7. Other characters do not believe in the main character at first, but by the end of the series, is known as the most important character. naruto-goku

Then you have posted your thread in the wrong section due to the comparison of two different works. It still doesn't deny the fact that its basically the same thread. :cool:
