Kishi doesn't write the manga according to actual fights and standards. That's why there are so many contradictions and inconsistencies regarding combat material.

He doesn't go back to Chapter X when he's writing Chapter Y, just so it can match up with hype or so it doesn't contradict something else. He writes it according to what he thinks will make a good chapter.

In the famous words of Stan Lee, ""So one Question I'm always asked. Who would win in a fight? Who would win in a fight if Galactus fought The Hulk, or if Thor fought Iron Man? And there's one answer to all of that. It's so simple, anyone should know this. The person who'd win in a fight is the person that the scriptwriter wants to win! If I'm writing a story, about The Thing, from the Fantastic Four, and he gets into a big fight with Spider-Man, and millions of people out there say Who Would Win? Well, it depends on who I want to win if I'm writing the script. If I want Spider-Man to win, he'll win. If I want the Thing to win, he'll win. These are fictitious characters, the writer can do whatever he wants with them! So stop asking those questions, 'cause I've had it with that."

It's whatever the author wants it to be.

Other problems are random factors, i. e. luck, what each fighter decides etc. We assume that they fight like machines, but they aren't so they can make stupid mistakes, too.

No that is how Stan Lee writes no kishi.
Kishi always looks backs and past chapters because almost every fight or scenes builds upon a past one.

This is not about kishi not being careful or being lazy this is you using ABC logic.

Kishi has made it readily apparent through certain characters (Itachi said)that no one justu is not above the rest and power is not everything in a fight(Kabuto) intel can be just as dangerous and that even though a ninja can outclass someone in certain aspects they still might not win.(Examples)Minato is not that strong psychically nor is his normal resengan that strong although his ftg makes up for that and so it puts him in the top 10
another good example is that kisame has way more chakra then guy and fought him over the ocean where he is at his strongest but, guys attack didn't rely on chakra so he won anyway.

There is also the manner of the stat book which everyone uses as a means to compare everyone when the stat book is not meant to be viewed that at all(I already made a thread on that)

So yeah, less complaining about kishi and start paying attention more.
The only one being lazy is you.
instead of just taking things at face value and complaining about kishi not building upon his past work just stop being lazy yourself and pay atenttion

its exactly how kishi writes we seen time and time again powerful characters lose to weaker characters
sasori is one case, because the writer wrote that sasori loses, pein is another, edo nagato is another. and madara will be another. the write stalls the battle and put them ridiculous situations(madara being bored and not just dropping meteors killing the entire alliance). and he will lose in a silly way next 6-7 chapters.

Thor would destroy Iron man

In a closed setting of course he would decimate Iron Man, but since all feats of characters are written by an author, the author can make whomever they want win.
