Yes but Tsunade decided to train her because she possessed that intellect, otherwise she wouldn't have taken Sakura under her tutelage.

Ok, but we cannot assume she didn't receive proper training, like you said in your first post. She was in charge of one of Orochimaru's hideouts, so i don't think Orochimaru, a Sannin, wouldn't teach her some stuff, like how to defend herself, I am still expecting her to show some moves...

True, i won't deny the fact that Sakura has always been intelligent. And from what we've seen Sakura is more intelligent. However, I do think think if Karin had proper training she'd be just as smart because i think she's always been smart even before meeting Oro like Sakura. I also think Karin is probably as intelligent as Sakura, i just think she probably hasn't gotten enough "screen time" to show her true potential

Yea, Oro obviously did teach her some stuff, I'll agree with you on that one. But most of time i think Karin taught herself with some guidance from Orochimaru cause lets not forget Orochimaru was mostly focusing on Sasuke.
