He didn't get owned by totsuka. He was an edo under the control of nagato so he didn't have his senses + he was only focusing on capturing itachi and naruto because of the eight tails and nine tails. Totsuka isn't fast at all, he could have dodged it easily if he had control over his mind

The evidence is the manga which makes this fact very clear. Anyone who has read the manga and understood it properly can clearly say that Nagato>Itachi. So please read it again and get back to me on it because if you seriously have to debate and question between nagato and itachi and who is stronger than I have nothing to say to you. It's as simple as that.

Nagato has a much better arsenal and better feats than itachi. Alive itachi or edo itachi, he can't defeat any form of nagato. He's not that powerful. Itachi is barely top 10.

Itachi's greatest asset was his potential, the truth is that of his goals were directed to the sole purpose of being stronger he would have provably been on everybody's top 5, however , we have only seen itachi in the manga fight with the intent to ultimately loose ( Jiriaya, Kakashi, Sasuke) the only fight that he wanted to win was Kabuto where his feats are debatable because alive itachi doesnot =edo itachi. Itachi is a man of hax, if you ate fighting him without intel I don't care what your DC is it will be a tough battle- ( similar to another uchiha we know ( obito, Kamui gg)

Of course, naruto and bee needed his help. Who said they didn't help his help? But at the end of the day, it was a team effort and that's it. None of them individually could have defeated nagato. Not naruto, not bee and not even itachi. Itachi didn't prove that he was better than nagato in this battle, it was clearly a team effort. It's from the manga but you can't comprehend what's happening. When I meant reading, there's much more to that then just enjoying the black and white pictures and understanding the words. It means comprehending the story and understanding the scenario which you failed to do. Anyone who thinks that Itachi>Nagato really needs to reread that part of the manga again.

No form of itachi is greater than any form of nagato. This is obvious.
