i think it erased the edo seal from that area of his body not like he needs it all he has to do is uses a freaking chakra arm to replace the missing one to do his jutsus but all hes been doing is flap his moth off instead of showing some action. to be honest im disapointed with the whole kage revival

...and the sideeffect of Onmyodon was exactly that damage is permanent even IF the victim is an edo. So...yeah.
