Listen to Hailies Song, Mockingbird, Cleaning' Out My Closet, Stronger Than I Was, Headlights, Kim, Marshall Mathers, Soldier, White America, Lose Yourself, Sing For the Moment. If you can't hear the sadness, frustration, energy and anger in those songs, then you need to get your ears checked. Also, rap is the wrong genre to be looking for a bunch of different tones.

Also, lyrics are what defines rappers. Yes, you need good beats and good flow/voice, but the lyrics is your first and foremost priority. Rappers like Lil Wayne, Lil B, 2 Chainz and Chief Keef are the ones that think otherwise.

I ain't getting angry man, I just find it hard to believe how in a time with rappers such as 2Chains, Wocka Flocka Flame, Tyga and the likes, people still complain about Shady.

Decent list but saying those guys are better than Em is a bit of a stretch of the imagination. I agree that Kendrick, Big Krit, and Lupe are dope rappers but Em is much better than them, album sales can support what I'm saying.

How does this all correlate? Eminem is infatuated with his image/title, and avoids rapping about how he really feels/thinks, because he cares more about his image now. It's robotic rapping, no soul to it...just witty lines. Constantly trying to prove him self to avoid that 'white people can't rap' stereotype...that's a lot of pressure.

Technically, that's what dead rap is. There's several artist who are lyrically retarded...but you know they mean what they are rapping about. And they make tons of money to. They are being themselves, basically.
