Honestly, Kakuzu isn't someone who would deal well with Minato's Bunshin along with the Hiraishin and Hiraishin Barrier. Domu itself might be a problem, however, transporting the Gian back onto Kakuzu via the Hiraishin Barrier would most likely work.

I simply don't see Kakuzu having something that would catch and deal with Minato before the latter destroys his Ghosts. Even so, I don't see Minato taking down Kakuzu's main body due to Domu if the tactic I added above fails. It's a bothersome match-up, indeed.

In the end, I'll just have to give this to Minato more times than not.​

Minato wins with ease. Kakuzu's jutsu are nothing that he can't evade or redirect with S/T Barrier and once he's marked, he'll be able to blitz kill him any amount of times since he won't be able to react to Hiraishin in order to block Domu. He doesn't even need to worry about killing his hearts as they need to re enter Kakuzu's body every time he's killed in order to revive him.

Redirecting Gian onto him also lets him bypass Domu.

If I remember correctly Kakuzu has to activate Domu. Problem is, once Minato has him marked, he'll have no time at all to execute Domu. Minato is too quick.

And at some times he didn't ._, He won't need to activate full body domu to tank a rasengan.

Why are people saying S/T Barrier ends kakuzu? Lol, it would have to be a perfect hit through his heart....Sooo all he needs to do is move a bit and it isn't doing damage at all.

Not to mention its a slow defense, and gian is a fast as hell attack

Perhaps for a petty blade slash which would of did nothing more than scratch Kakuzu in the face. He would need to activate it to embrace for a full on attack, and he'd need it against the Rasengan. It may be small, but the impact it deals to the insides [

]. And lets not forget this is part 1 Naruto, with his half baked Rasengan... he'd need Domu. Besides, Minato's use of Bunshins can be used to attack Kakuzu with multiple Rasengan; clones who also use FTG [
