Itachi finger genjutsu

Does itachi finger genjutsu work If he point his finger on the enemy? (thats mean he cant cast genjutsu on more than 1 person)

Or if the Enemy looked at his finger ?



Here itachi cast the genjutsu but chiyo and sakura doesn't fall for it (chiyo didn't look at his finger but sakura did)


Correct me if i am wrong but itachi didn't use the genjutsu on both because

Lol yeah I did think if that but didn't mention it, lol, but then again Sakura's power was restricted too

Itachi used the Ring on the right hand finger.
He did it with only Naruto, so as to confirm something (the crow inside Naruto).

It's not the ring. Kakashi informed everyone not to look into Itachi eyes, however Itachi can change the location from where he casts a genjutsu. He doesn't need to use his eyes, a finger is enough for him to cast all his Sharingan genjutsu.

To escape a genjutsu:
1) you need someone else to disturb your own chakra.
2) your need to disturb your own chakra.

Naruto tried to use his large to chakra pool to break the genjutsu, but he was unable to do so (which says a lot about how powerful Itachi's basic genjutsu is).

Both Chiyo and Sakura simultaneously freed Naruto from Itachi's genjutsu. And it took one final slap from Sakura for Naruto to return to his senses.
