I believe Kishi is hyping up Sasuke because viewer expecting Sasuke and Madara to have some form of battle/conversation (about the uchiha clan).Sasuke needed to take his revenge on Madara because Obito was manipulated by him (black zetsu) to kill the clan from the start.I guess Sasuke maybe talking to solo gods as we speak to give him the power to finish Madara off with all his solo technique.Current Naruto donot have the fire power to take down Madara because odama futton rasengan shiriken failed and Naruto tbb will simply be absorb by Gunbai or petra path.
Truly,the only good way for Sasuke to fight Madara is if he team up with Orichimaru.Orichimaru did taught him forbidden jutsu and other techinques,he know Sasuke better than the other.Teacher and Student combo will be a good treat against Madara.Picture hydra wrap with Perfect susano .However do you think Sasuke might Switch side with Madara eventually since Madara is the only living uchiha now,(R.I.P OBITO)?

Naruto was in SM so Kurama is going to be recharging his chakra again for like the 4th-5th time for another fight and Sasuke needed to take a breather since he was probably tried from PS+BSM combo while Naruto was as well but he went SM which quickly recovers him. Sasuke stands no chance against a serious Madara, which he is now that he's alive, he owned the 5 kages and called that child's play while Sasuke was going to die from the first kage he fought (thanks Gaara for saving Sasuke). Power up from MS to EMS is not that big, just PS is.

Orochimaru and Sasuke team up would be cool to see but if Sasuke didn't use any of that forbidden jutsus on Itachi hen he's not going to use it on Madara who is far stronger and has a vast amount of knowledge on jutsus. I do want Sasuke to go on Madara side and have them retreat so he trains Sasuke while Naruto trains with the kages for their final battle but doubt that will happen.
