I don't know but it doesn't seem like a good idea return to a human state, that means that the alliance will no longer need to immobilize him instead they would need to kill madara, I'm not undermining the task but killing by far now seems like an easier option as madara has a finite amount of chakra while hashirama is unbound by a limit, there are the edo hokage as well as the alliance. There is nothing he can do with a human body that he couldnt do with an edo body except for becoming the juubi's jinchuriki which I think is probably useless now.

true but not by that much(based off how edo hokages described their power levels. He does have less chakra(though he still has a large reserve) The only thing that makes him less powerful really, is the fact that he cant heal from attacks(so he must dodge or defeat all attacks on him.)

unless I am not seeing it, but the scan doesn't say anything about the inferiority of the edo tensei bodies, it just says almost full power.
