Few reasons why Maddy happy.

1. He become stronger. ( As you remember orochimaru first edo had 20%of their power, now he made them stronger but not 100% ) So Madara alive > Edo Madara.
2. If you worry about Chakra, as you remember he fight 2 days without rest VS Hashirama. Tons of chakra....
3. And last He can obtain jin powes now.

Er Madara was a "special" Edo tensei as he was ressurected past his " Prime" meaning he was stronger than he was alive at his prime - on top of that he has pretty much most of hashirama's wood techniques meaning he was a Zombie + Hashirama and Madara all together to create the ultimate Edo (which then got soloed by hashirama at his 80% )

Though i do agree madara can potentially get stronger than his edo self with him being powered by good old "SENJU DNA" to use Rinnegan to the fullest potential and have techniques he couldnt use as an edo.

wasn't he special for the fact that he was younger than when he died and also he had hashirama's face on his chest :/
