So, if you were one of these who thought Obito was definitely dead... think again. He may survive, since he only revived one person. You need to revive an entire village to completely die.

I think he survived aswell why would the fox explain that whole entire thing too have him die right away. He still has the (gedo mazou in his body. Nagato did not Thats why he died. But madara is back to life n stronger than ever

It could be like Edo Tensei. Ashes cover the sacrifice, killing him, to make the new body replaced by the resurrected Edo Tensei.

This technique is very similar Edo Tensei so Obito might be dead. Instead of Ashes covering the sacrifice, the will covers him, i.e the Black Zetsu, allowing the body to be a vessel for the newly revived.

In fact, I think the Edo Tensei is a prototype for this version of the Rinne tensei. Maybe that's why Madara knew more about the Edo Tensei then Tobirama, he probably influenced Tobirama with his EMS to make the Edo Tensei as a test run for this particular version of Rinne Tensei.

Basically i doubt everyone just went through the trouble of defeating obito and then spared him, to have madara kill him. Its Naruto, minato, or the tailed beasts move now.
