But the Japanese obviously can tell the difference between quality manga since it originated from there. 4kids got their hands on OP which affected the sales and left a bad taste to the viewers due to the dub. You still didn't explain the decline in sales, lel. Not to mention, the immense plot-holes the series has.

Suspend your disbelief. Obviously there will be errors here or there. It's not meant to be followed by hundreds of people on a forum day by day, week by week. It's meant to tell a story. You can find problems with anything if you spend enough time looking into it.

Plot-holes aren't things that you disliked. The actual plot-holes were corrected, like Minato's head being in Obito's flashback when he wasn't Hokage at the time.

Not really. Americans can't tell the difference between good tv shows and bad ones since Family Guy is extremely popular. I don't see why Japanese people liking One piece proves that its better. Furthermore, cartoon network dubbed Naruto and also made it look stupid, that is not an excuse.
