Tbh, I have never witnessed or heard about someone, in my school ofc, getting made fun of because they're different. That's not always the case though, if anything, going by what this picture specifically shows, the smarter one tends to think they're "superior". Do they go out of their way to downplay the less intelligent students? Maybe, but I have not once seen such done.

School has nothing to do with intelligence in my opinion. What school does it kill individuality and turn you into a mindless sheep. Why is it that schools promote individuality and yet take 30 different students who have 30 different thought processes and teaches them the same thing the same way.. And the ones who don't understand what the f*ck is going on get punished for it? And if you think about it school tests your memory more than it tests your intelligence. They tell you some shit and expect you to REMEMBER it for a long time to write it down on a test. Right or wrong?

There's a difference between those who get good grades and those who are truly intelligent.

im sorry bro im not on school.....school has subjects i have courses and since you say that.....anyone cant do what i do....so your saying that anyone can do physics i didnt finish reading only finished now i agree with what your saying about school i had a crappy ubject also that i wasnt interested in but it takes intelligence to do physics and mathematics....

It's not that people just get made fun of it's more to it than that. I can't really put it into words and I know this is gonna sound corny but pictures like these really speak for themselves you can't explain you feel them :|

I get what your saying. The picture is saying that sometimes the intelligent get made fun of by the not so bright because they're different and see things differently. Right?

But like -6 Paths- and others have stated that's a half truth that goes both ways, but what confused me is you said that you know that already. Which made me see this thread as pointless.

That's just my opinion though, this picture you posted may have made someone who had a rough day feel better. Which is always good.

If that actually was what the picture was implementing, then the including of brain size was entirely unnecessary, and quite shallow. Again, just because someone is different does not mean that he's more intelligent, which is obviously what the picture is suggesting.​

perhaps the OP is misinterperting that picture, or the guy who put on the text is. if you look at what you said in reverse, then it's not people who are being made fun of are smarter. but people who are smarter are being made fun of. a somewhat better generalization.

Plato had a metaphor about people chained in a dark cave. when one of them gets free, run outside, see the outside world and runs back to tell the other people, they stone him to death for being blasphemous. that picture is kinda the same thing.

oh and another thing, OP, remember that every generation grew up to hate the one after it. if the laws of logic still apply, you will turn out like this as well.​

That's exactly it. And I'm not disagreeing with the fact that it goes both ways but 6 paths came off blunt and like a douche bag. And it's always good to actually debate with someone on this forum without them trying to bash you because A- They didn't understand your post or B- They don't agree with it.

But even so, that still does not justify generalizing such things. Being childish in it's nature, bullying most frequently stems from looks, personality, etc. And while the scene in the picture may be relevant in some cases, simply stating that 'People make fun of me merely because I'm far more intelligent than them', and on top of that stating that this description sums up every generation is not a realistic way to go.

As for the more intelligent being more likely to be bullied, I don't feel that's the case at all. Yes, it happens, but it's not nearly as common as other reasons for bullying, hence why I'm having trouble understanding the actual point of this thread. Then again, that may be just me.​

However, I do still stand by my previous post, I feel that the picture doesn't describe the true nature of bullying at all, nor do I feel that it's too relevant..At all. The text below certainly isn't helping. Again, if that offends you, I'm sorry, but that is the way I see this.​
