Sakura ; a good or a bad character ?

But as personality she is awesome i love her .

She is self sacrificing
Always act mean but in the inside she is caring,sweet, funny.

Anyone who resample her in real life is a hero to me .

As a character she has had terrible development throughout the whole story. Kishimoto himself has admitted this somewhere in one of his interviews, sadly I don't remember enough to find it.

Call it character bashing, but she really is a bad character. She keeps giving us hopes with her determination to get better every time she gets shut down and just continuously proves to us that everything she says about herself has no credibility at all. This not only shows that she's a bad character in terms of strength, but also in character. "All talk, no action." would be a good quote example.

All people wanted to see from Sakura was real improvement and development, but she never achieved that.

honestly kishi should have developed Sakura's Genjutsu back in part I. She is, after all, a genjitsu type. Then she could have learned to be a medical ninja under tsunade.

Then, somewhere between Naruto beating Pain and Sasuke's journey to Sanro, she should have found a genjutsu master to further develop her own.

By now she should be able to perform high level genjutsu like Bringer of Darkness with single handseals like Itachi in addition to medical jutsu. THIS would have put her on par with the boys...at least closer than she currently is.

As a character, she should have had more panel tim. A small arc for her development like Sasuke gets. I mean she is suppose to be the main heroine. It's too bad Kishi didn't devolp her better. She could have been exceptional.

this this is the best description of her a character that the creator thought that the audience would love be translated into a character that was annoying and brought the entire franchise down a bit...yes sakura is that bad if she wasn't there would be literally hundreds of threads like this

Good character.
Sakura had changed after Naruto failed attempt to bring back Sasuke.
Became Tsunade student is the right choice for her.
Kishi commended about Sakura: "She's not cute!"

In the first 3 quarters of the beginning she was bad but had her moments.
Last quarter she was really bad, with no involved effort to save Sasuke herself. Lee went out there with near broken bones and at least did something. Hell, even the sand siblings got involved.

First part of Shippuden she was good. Had high standards.
Then she drifted, going back to the minor roles and lied to Naruto which got her attention, sure, but was negative attention. Then not being able to kill Sasuke was a bad thing for her.
Now she just recently got a power up and isn't doing much with it.

So I personally would call her bad.

She pretty inconsistent. If she were a side character it wouldn't be a problem though... but because she's a main she gets bashed. Ino is just as bad as she is yet there has yet to be a" ino hate," or "or is ino a good character" thread.
