There was recently a thread about zabuza that he could defeat kisame and i will just try to prove that kisame>zabuza
before the fighting starts we will look at their tools:
kisame weapon:
Samehada is a large sentient sword. It is described as "the most terrifying of all the Seven Swordsmen's blades"
zabuza weapon:
The Kubikiribōchō is a massive broadsword shaped like a giant butcher knife, earning it the title of "seversword".
I think it is fair to say that samehada>Kubujurbōchō
Jutsu
In the databook their stats of ninjutsu, taijutsu and genjutsu are the same. Kisame has a greater stamina, strength and intellegence. So we need to look at the justsu's itself. Their water jutsu's are pretty much the same and we can say that they are even on that part.
The problem for Kisame is the hidden mist jutsu from zabuza. The counter for this is:Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave. The disribing of the jutsu: The user spits out a great volume of water from their mouth, swallowing up and crushing the enemy with the advancing surge. The user can ride the wave, allowing them to move at high speed, and attack the enemy, now swept off their feet, without fear of counter-attacks. The amount of water created is proportional to the amount of chakra used; when used with Kisame's enormous chakra, even a dry wasteland can become a small ocean. Afterwards, the excess water can be used for additional Water Release techniques.
While Kisame uses this jutsu, he can fuse with samehada and then it is game over for zabuza. The hidden mist technique won't work anymore and he can't keep up with his speed nor power and kisame will kill zabuza.
