Series is cool but the movies suck?

I enjoy the manga for the most part, but naruto movies are very boring to me. I appreciate the quality of the animaton but the stories and villains never impress me. Personally i think dbz films as cheesy as they can be are way better.

I have always thought we could of gotten a sannin movie, a itachi one, a minato war saga movie, a movie to show why hiruzen is called the god of shinobi, there are so many good little 1 hour side films that could have been made. I just feel like the movies that were made were boring, while cannon chars with interesting stories get nothing. lol kakuzu would of even been dope, even a white fang and fugaku would be killer. what are yall thoughts?

road to ninja was the only one that looked worth it based on the concept they sold. but as always they dropped the ball.

It was so hyped & I think it didn't delivered , I didn't like it anyways .

The third shippuden movie is the best one so far.

You are right. The third one is the best and the only good shippuden movie so far. They screwed up road to ninja. They could have done better with the storyline.

Yeah, several of these movies reused the same plot basically (Naruto TnJing some princess). I liked the third Shippuuden movie too, and Blood Prison was nice except it felt unrelated to Naruto :| It felt sort of like Conqueror of Shamballa in relation to FMA manga - same characters but a different (and darker) setting.

But then again I'm the kind of person who cries over Pokemon movies (not the latest ones though) :|

I am only disappointed with movie six a little other than that the first five Naruto shippuden movies were awesome in my opinion.

However its true that there should be something different and something that everyone wants.
In road to ninja movie the alternate universe thing was new but it didn't reach my expectations.

some were ok i liked the lost tower and bonds, 5 had potential but was meh at the end 6 didn't live up to the hype, i can't say for the pre shippuden movies or the first shippuden i haven't seen them

Shippuden and movies are similar,
But not following manga, because if Kishi is involved, this manga will be delay.
The movie "Road to ..." could involved Kishi.
i belief that Kishi used the movie as the alternate to manga "Genjutsu ... Plan"
Note the different, and there is 1 chapter completely about "Genjutsu.....Plan"
That could explained why the Naruto manga about Juubi relivable failed.

Bonds, road to ninja and blood prison are the only ones I liked. The rest of the movies were Ok I guess.

Oh Hell no, Naruto Movies are awesome. Only Movies that were the most disappointing is Road To Ninja, God it's the worst Movies.

Best Movies in My Opinion is:

1. Will of Fire ( Shippuden the Movie 3)
2. Blood Prison ( Shippuden the Movie 5)
3 Clash of the Land of Snow ( Naruto the Movie 1)
4. Naruto Shippuden the Movie
5. Bond ( Shippuden the Movie 2)

I like some of the movies, but the problem is that they use the same story line over and over again, they go on a mission and Naruto TNJ a character and beats the bad guy with a new Rasengan variant. I actually enjoyed Road to Ninja, it could have been better but I still liked it.
