I think countries deserve the right to have freedom of their own religion, if they banned Islam? Islam strictly forbids this action and The punishment for this is eternal hellfire . Even taking one innocent life is considered as killing the whole humanity . Islam has no mercy towards this kinda actions and these people are clearly extremists who act only according to what they believe or are just driven by some horrible event .
