He blocked the hit in ice mirrors, if either Lee or Gai continued striking he would be doomed.
Kisame would break him down. He was fighting with taijutsu masters (Team Gai) and he was pretty good for a guy who is fighting with a taijutsu oriented pack, he was able to block Gai with one arm and push him in the deep of water with a punch:

The point is he was able to make it over to Kakashi (who has incredible speed) in time to block the attack. Haku was no where in set and Kabuto used him as a shield/sacrifice, but he can't manipulated Haku's speed.

He didn't use mirrors to counter their attack. Show me how mirrors were invloved

Also, the simple standard strikes are indeed powerful, but lack speed and are predictable. As expressed, so someone who have have ice needles come down on command, Haku can counterattack.

Just one punch from a 30% Kisame quite far down into the water. Kisame also has an exceptional reaction speed as well, far good enough to keep up with the same Haku that 2T Sasuke did. Don't bring up Haku's Suiton needles either, they don't hurt Kisame whatsoever and can be absorbed once they pierce his skin. [

First off i stated Haku is out of his league. Second; Senbons are made for piercing, swords that bee had were not. Plus it's too different methods on how they are used to penetrate. And with a KKG it doesnt state he needs a shit load of chakra to enforce it. He made a large area alone freeze and made snow appear. That alone should tell you the range of his abilities. And again, who said sama' can adsorb KKG's?

? That is a piercing maneuver, evident by the way the sword made contact with Samehada/Kisame. And freezing the air is a whole lot easier then freezing water; let alone a big body of water Kisame can produce. Freezing little puddles is no where near a strong enough feat to suggest Haku can freeze entire suiton techniques on Kisames level.

Unless you're suggesting a KKG doesn't require chakra, I'm saying that Samehada can absorb it.
