[Discussion] Korra BK 3 changes

so i just found out that's what book 3 gonna be about changes.... hmm sound interesting. for 1 i know that the first change is about the humans and spirits living together in harmony. can't wait to see what else changes. U_U

Lol just finished watching both books.


I'd say the following things probably follow under this category.


1. Humans and spirits

2 dark avatar. Darkness can't be destroyed... So naturally he has to return. Since no longer being trapped and having fused with a soul, a dark lineage will exist)

3. Relationships. This series is as bad as Naruto except instead of teasing them they go back and forth literally between relationships. Especially love that ending where they are throwing out I love you, but let's break up <(-.-<).


All I want is the little turtle dove to stay on happiness XD!

Unalok called himself the new avatar but he still only had water bending so was he really an avatar?

that's the same thing i was wondering... but maybe, maybe not..... because he did had vatu who was the source of darkness infuse with him giving him immense power like an avatar....regardless if he could only water-bend but i still think having the four elements being intact would be more of an avatar concept. U_U

i don't think you need all four elemnts to be an avatar, I beleive it is a sort of state of being. The Avatar is the bridge between the two worlds, Spirit and Mortal. It's the Avatar's job too keep those two worlds neutral, to exist in both plains. Wan knew this, he just happened to need all four elements to defeat Vatu.

The avatar is just the combination of a human and great spirit(of light or dark)

The light avatar, only has all elements, because it was granted by the lion turtles. So unless the dark avatar finds a lion turtle that can grant him all bending, or can energy bend the elements into himself, the dark avatar will just have the element of the incarnation.

Im not quite sure, if the dark avatar will come back, or if vaatu will just have to wait 10000 years to burst out of raavas spirit.


I predict korra will lose all bending except for earth in the next book. And that on the final book she will only have fire.(this is going with the trend of every season finale, korra loses bending except for one element, and that she happens to have lost them in the order of the avatar cycle)


Im not quite sure who will be the villian of the next book. I mean they went from almighty blood bender to almighty dark avatar water bender. What is next, almighty evil moon spirit? Then almighty dark water god?

(all the bending villains have been water benders so far(all villains have been water tribe(with the sole exception of asamis father))


I have a feeling we wont see the dark avatar again though. As with tlk we dont have recurring villians much.(unlike tla)

korra didn't lose any of her bending this book >_< she lost ravva she could still bend she air bent her self into the tree of time and water bend vattu
