first off, for what you actually want, we needed to have an RP setup where you didn't have cannon bios. You had the abilities, you tested for the abilities, but the characters themselves needed to be all custom. You'd simply test for the abilities and the ability combinations that would be possible. However, that is not the case. We have an RP where you can use Cannon bios. And where most cannon bios can be held by more than one person at the same time. And we've set this up for ages in a system that enables it. And where the powerful bios in the manga have their abilities restricted to them, not available to all.

Now, the whole RP thing and what not. I see it the other way around. The bio doesn't wear me, I wear the bio. I have hashirama yet sometimes I feel like acting roughtless which is not his real demeanor. Does that make me a bad rpear? Why would it? and no it doesn't. I have even RP with Hashirama as SCORPS, not hashirama. I think people overthink it. you have a transformation technique, you have the ability to act like you wish, to look like anything you want in battle. For me Role Playing is stepping into the characters shoes but also in acting our own character. What we are in the forums. Its not having Hashirama that stops me from rping like I want. And I don't accept anyone that comes and says I'm a bd rpear because of it. Also, we often forget, in our focused mind in the abilities, that each character is made by their abilities. Minato wouldn't be the reasonable, logic, genius he is if he didn't use FTG because he needs to be reasonable, cool minded, logic, intelligent to use it. A wouldn't be a user of Lightning Armor if he was all nice and cuddly and pink and fluffy. Danzo has 2 implants he stole from ninjas from his own village, one of them in an attack to a hero of the village. He is deviation of life and the rules of nature. Do you want him to be...what? a cook? His abilities make his demeanor. His demeanor shapes what abilities he has. Tsunade and Sakura. If they were like ino do you think they'd muster that physical power? Its their temperamental personality that makes sense with their abilities. If you make a custom bio with those abilities that will rp as them in terms of demeanor...then why make a custom if you RP just the same? And if you aren't rping the same, then it does make much logic for the abilities themselves. I dunno if I made myself understandable as its hard to me to understand. Its simply something that doesn't make sense for me.

I'm against the whole skin system because I feel its farfetched and completely improvised. It doesn't make sense for me. It really doesn't. Its...weird to think we'd put it in place in our RP and how it would work or how we'd make it work. Not only that but I also don't honestly see the need. I personally don't.

If we were an RP without cannon bios, only cannon abilities and ability setups and we had to rp as custom characters made up all around then not only would it not even be needed such a suggestion as this "issue" wouldn't even taken place.


Now, thats my opinion.

Now I've read your entire post, but I'm only going to address very little of it. I'd very much like to discuss role-play with you at some point in the future, because I believe your standpoint to be a pretty special one. I've never come across it before.
To the point.

You have, like Hato, presented alternatives to a skin-bio: things one could do instead of using a skin-bio. You've stated that you find the concept of a skin-bio far-fetched and needless, which is a valid opinion to have.
My question is simple; do you believe having skin-bios available in the role-play on NB would be detrimental?
I ask this because I see this as kind of a 'Larry Flynt versus The People' kind of situation. You may not like skin-biographies, but is that a reason not to make them available?
Perhaps if a small group of NB'ers got together and wrote all the rules themselves?
I'm really just fishing for a chance here. I mean; why not give us a chance? If you find any signs of abuse you can just scrap it. You wouldn't need to lift a finger.

I made it because I felt we talked about barriers, we showed barriers of many types but no "real barrier" and a real barrier should be a defensive thing right? a simple one. So that was like a basic technique that was really missing.

2. Its funny that you say use your imagination and yet you are against people making custom bios, custom histories, custom personalities, and maybe even a custom look to rp the way they want to. Your saying to make something up and yet you dont want us to? Im not following

A different body and personality?

I had thoughts of something like this.

Its Ninjutsu right? 0_0 Please tell me it is Ninjutsu. Because when I was thinking of this idea, I was think "Oh, it is not going to get approve because it is Fuuinjutsu". I have no Fuuinjutsu training.
