Chidori
xD
( Raiton: Raisogekishin ) - Lightning Release: Lightning Rat Violent Quake
Strong points
It is a pretty nice projectile like lighting technique with one big disadvantage and it is number of hand seals that it needs. Hiding disks behind a fire ball would be a cool idea. You could send a huge fire ball in front of you which will act pretty much as a distraction and once opponent gets rid of the fire the swift lighting projectiles will come out. It can be used to attack opponent from multiply sides and make him focus on this jutsu while you are preparing something else. And I also think that they are best to be used in short range, especially if you have lighting as your speciality. Sending multiply projectiles at your opponent at short range will make dodging of the jutsu pretty hard.
Ways to counter this technique
Using wind based technique. Covering yourself in wind vortex, especially if opponent send more then one projectile at you. By doing this you will be able to defend from the technique while at the same time being able to keep sight on your opponent. I could as well use mud like technique and aim for doton projectiles that are going towards me,hitting them and trowing them out of the way.
Questions
I don't have any questions concerning this jutsu.
(Raiton: Chidori) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds
Strong points
Chidori is very powerfully as well as overused jutsu. I think best use of chidori is in taijutsu like fights. Being close to your opponent while using chidori can end up in an instant kill. It is cool and good to be used if opponent use send you in the air with him following you in shadows and just by using chidori you could instant kill him when he tought that he had advantage.
Ways to counter this technique
Firstly chidori is not so hard to stop. User of the technique must focus on chidori at all time of using it. Type of defending which I am going to use also depends on range on which I am standing from my opponent. If we are not so close to each other even the most basics of wind gusts will make my opponent let go of a chidori and start performing something else. The bigger problem will be if I am standing very close to my opponent. I need to focus on characteristics of chidori so I could react fast without meta gaming what is actually happening. We know that chidori also have sound to it which means just by hearing that I will need to swiftly focus on creating something that involves futon with it. Kenjutsu like attacks that give me speed as well as momentum and ability to defend from such a technique. Also one more thing to mention is paper being stronger then lighting will mean that if opponent performes chidori on me even with most basic of attacks I will be able to counter it. I forgot to mention one more thing that can be used when you are not so close to your opponent and he uses Chidori. Using a water like technique will end up in hi dieing because of paralyzing effects that it already and adding water to it well ends up lethal.
Questions
I don't have any particular questions when it comes to chidori. It is well known technique.
(Raiton: Chidori Nagashi) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Current
Strong points
Well it is unfocused chakra that can numb every single living thing that it reaches. The good thing about nagashi is that there are no hand seals involved and that it can be used up to mid range. It is usable in taijutsu like fights. You are even able to defend yourself with this technique, when opponent attacks you,you could easily and unexpectedly release unfocused chakra from your body towards your opponent numbing him and paralyzing him. You could firstly soak down your opponent with water and then use nagashi, although in this situations you will need to worry about range from your opponent. Because chidori can be channeled into metal objects it can as well give them numbing effects. Because it doesn't give any kind of kenjutsu power ups like speed and such if i come in situation where I stab my opponent I could easily just channel lighting chakra into my sword and release it in the form of nagashi completely numbing my opponent. Also one of the good usages of nagashi is for releasing from genjutsu which it is also used for.
Ways to counter this technique
The best way to counter the jutsu is by using wind vortexes as well as gusts. Covering yourself in wind technique if you by chanse have a sword in your hand. Depending on how opponent uses nagashi because of its speed using water can be a good choice. The one who is performing jutsu would be floating in raiton chakra and giving him big disadvantage to water like techniques.

( Raiton: Raisogekishin ) - Lightning Release: Lightning Rat Violent Quake
Strong points
- It has huge cutting capabilities being able to cut trough the hardest of rocks which also means it can easily cut trough bones and flash.
- With this jutsu you are able to choose if you want to send one disk or multiply of them. You can send one with its full power or send a lot of them and creating a evasion which is hard to defend from.
- Range of the jutsu is good. You are able to reach up to mid range.
- Hand seals are the biggest problems here. Having to perform 3 hand seals will mean that you will need more time to perform it.
- If you decide to go for more then one disk like projectile it will also mean that their individual power will be less.
- Although it can shock opponent there wont come to any kind of numbing effects.

(Raiton: Chidori) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds
Strong points
- Power of chidori is amazing. Being able to pierce trough human flash and completely destroy it.
- Its abilities as well as shape can be used in many different ways and there are many variations of it with it not having much disadvantages.
- Chidori and it's numbing effects are amazing. You are pretty much able to paralyze your opponent.
- Let me just firstly say that there are not much disadvantages when it comes to chidori. One of it is its being only a melee attack.
- Second disadvantage I would say hand seals that are needed for it to be performed although if you mastered lighting release it is only one hand seal.
