Misunderstood more then anything.

The chakra it provides him is immense.
Kurama can regain it faster meaning less downtime
And its the yang half of him so he has stamina and durability for days.
It has chakra arms for extended range and versatility.
And it allows naruto to sense negative emotions.

I don't really give a damn about Naruto, but from what I've seen it's pretty underrated. The Biju Cloak and Sennin Modo in general are overrated, it's ridiculous to imagine the power one would be granted by the Biju-Sennin Modo. Of course, however, there are obviously some people which overrate it.​

the current BSM is almost the same as BM,since it's using normal SM and BM at the same time,he didn't mix kurama's chakra with natural energy,only his.thought it can be upgraded into a much stronger version if naruto gets the yin half of kurama's chakra and manages to create kurama's senjutsu chakra.

I see you forgot how KCM / BM works. Naruto fuses his own chakra with Kuramas chakra, thats how. BSM is combination of Narutos and Kuramas chakras and natural energy.

BM works when naruto links his chakra to kurama's and controls it with it,like in here:

naruto used his SM chakra to link to kurama's,he didn't fuse kurama's chakra with natural energy,plus i doubt it's even possible to absorb a huge amount of natural energy even in BM to equalise a bijuu's chakra in few moments.
