Sasuke's PS Sword (Confirmed details)

I know most people will say the anime is non canon sometimes and that's true, but only sometimes. Other times it gives better detail than the manga does.

In the latest anime episode we see that Madara's PS sword is actually sheathed and the sheath had ripples similar to Sasuke's PS sword.

I couldn't find a good enough picture for Madara's sheath from his PS, so here's the link to the anime: you can see it clearly at 7:30

This could also mean that for some dumb reason Sasuke has been holding back. Which he usually does anyway until he's forced to go full power. But I'm just glad to see that it actually was a sheath and we have yet to see the blade itself from Sasuke's PS sword.

Yeah, both swords are covered in that strange armour that looks like skin peeling, like the rest of Susano'o, plus the armour plating on the shoulders is the same.

Well it was never stated, only assumed. Since Orochimaru has said that he hasn't reached his full potential yet, but that also could be a translation mix up.

I thought that Sasuke holding back during this war was kind of obvious. Naruto took the brunt of all the major attacks. Sasuke, as he usually does, waited to exploit any openenings in Obito's attacks and would then strike. Sasuke is much better at gauging when to strike then Naruto who just bullwarks his way through everything.

Naruto clearly said that they can't lose the chance when they get an opening. How can you expect to use a sheathed sword when the chances of openings are 1 percent?
And you say he's holding back?
Holding back at a critical situation?
I know his powers burst when he's at the limit but in that chapter Sasuke was trying his best and he reached to that state. I don't want to show the scans where he was jealous of Naruto during the war. U_U

Well the sword itself is embedded with chakra from Kurama and sage energy, so I don't see why it wouldn't cut through. Also what are you getting at? The sheath is chakra. Chakra can cut chakra.

For once the part that was not in the manga that was in the anime had a purpose.
It was used to expand and give more depth to manga scenes.

Naruto tried to use the diversion while Sasuke was the sole responsible to attack Obito with the sword. Naruto didn't call out his friends for nothing.
I know chakra can cut through chakra but you cannot compare the sharpness of the sheathed sword and a naked sword buddy.

I honestly didn't want to argue with anyone on here. This was meant just to confirm that his sword is sheathed. But comments like this have to be set straight.

Well actually even in the manga it looks as though madara held the sheath and unleashed the sword from it. The sheath just wasn't shown afterwards.

Sasuke's sword hasn't shown anything. It was able break Obito's sword because of Naruto, his kyuubi and sennin chakra and also that Juugo.

Madara's Susanoo sword has its feats and hype. So again your thread is bogus as nothing is confirmed.

Like I said, this thread is here to give more in depth detail and it has done just that. These small things might not matter to you but they are actually interesting to some others. What you are bringing up is not related to the thread. I will report you if you post something off topic again.
