Anime suggestions?

I just finished watching Special A a few days ago...ugh. Ending absolutely sucked, both for the main couple and all the side ones (it was like none of them even got together to begin with).

Anyways, I've been trying to find a decent romance anime (guess it can be a secondary genre, though), just one with some kinda relationship that builds overtime. I've already seen Clannad, Angel Beats!, Eureka Seven, and Lovely Complex (all of which were very good), so if you can offer any other suggestions, I'd love to hear 'em

Oh, and if it can be helped, nothing too flamboyant in presentation. LC was a bit off-putting at times cause of that.
