He's currently my favorite character in the series. My last favorite died(Ace). I think I may be cursed.

That doea not mean he is afraid of luffy or something, that is just to disperse the straw hats so that it'll affect whatever their plan was. He also separated sanji, doea that mean anything?
And that scan you showed, in that he is just taking some precautions from the straw hats 'as a whole'. (read it's 'them')
And no we can't forget sanji, neither jozu, nor smoker.

Man its hurts me to see Law like this looks like Luffy will step in since he owes Law for saving his life but i doubt luffy can take Doflamingo on his own since Law got owned. And i also think that this Kora person Law mentioned was the person that Doflamingo hurt or possibly had killed which would explain Laws resentment towards Doflamingo.
