It's a manga fact. Tsunade killed Madara once, he just wasn't destroyed enough and could still use a jutsu, which was mokuton bunshin.

Indeed, I do know this. However, it seems that Itachi merged it with Susano'o in some unknown way so he can't use it without the Susano'o as far as I know.​

Well, Tsunade did most of the job. But yeah, this is three tomoe Itachi. Madara with rinnegan and a susanoo+genjutsus is much more dangerous than Itachi with his idiotic magical eyes v1.

Itachi's Genjutsu and Shunshin are far superior to Madara's own. Both of them are two completely different characters so you cannot really apply ABC logic to this.​

Both are top notch Uchiha. And I do see rinnegan and susanoo more of a threat than shunshin(which every character CAN use) and some genjutsu which can be broken by chakra control.

There was 5 Kages vs Madara, Tsunade landing a hit in a 5v1 scenario means nothing in a 1v1 scenario.

Also Itachi is much faster than tsunade, His jutsu speed is faster, He still has the sharingan's precog, 3tomoe genjutsu and so on
So even with just 3tomoe he has more then enough to fight on par with tsunade

Only problem is stamina, The only way i see itachi winning is if he traps her in genjutsu before she uses her seal and start cutting limbs of such as hands so she cannot form seals and such or go straight for the kill while she is under the effects of genjutsu

Both are top notch Uchiha. And I do see rinnegan and susanoo more of a threat than shunshin(which every character CAN use) and some genjutsu which can be broken by chakra control.

@Underlined. Tsunade had help from the Gokage so I don't see your point.

@Bold. Every character can use Shunshin, but not every character's Shunshin is good. That's like stating that Hidan's Shunshin is as good as Minato's for an example. So far, Itachi has shown to have the best Shunshin in the manga.

@Red. A weak Genjutsu can be broken that way, but not Itachi's Genjutsu. Both Sakura and Chiyo needed to channel their Chakura into Naruto, who was trying to disturb his own Chakura flow as well [

Well Orochimaru has an interesting body structure... Sometimes he is very durable ( tanked Tsunade's punch ) and sometimes he is less durable ( Itachi cut his hands, Kabuto cut his throat ).

And Tsunade tanked the teleportation technique with some scratches when Mabuti stated she won't be able to survive it. Her body is more durable then a regular human's.
