Now, in this same chapter, he is talking about Sasuke and if Naruto could defeat him if he had to. Itachi then gave him the crow that reacts to his eyes only.

Sasuke also didn't beat Itachi, Itachi allowed himself to die and didn't stomp all over Sasuke, as confirmed by Tobi. This means that

(1) Sasuke never beat Itachi
(2) Itachi allowed himself to die so that Sasuke would take his eyes
(3) Itachi gave Sasuke EMS

Hell, that was the whole point of Itachi explaining EMS to Sasuke. He was giving him the means to access his power by gifting his eyes.

So, if you're still following, this means that EMS was a gifted power to Sasuke just as BM is a gifted power from Kurama.

Naruto is using a borrowed power up from the entity and life of Kurama. Kurama who is a live being dwelling inside Naruto and has one of the greatest powers in the manga.

Sasuke got his powers from implanting Itachi's eyes however it's not borrowed. Borrowing means that it belongs to someone else. Itachi is dead and Sasuke has taken his eyes for his own gain. Sasuke fights on his own and uses his own chakra to fight. Naruto uses the Kyuubi's chakra to utilize techniques and abilities outiside of sage mode. However it's not his own. The only part of Kyuubi that belongs to Naruto is KM.



Naruto always fights as two. You cannot deny this. It is simple fact. Deal with it.

WEll if narutos is borrowed power i would rather say sasuke by stealing and killing

"No matter how you slice it" it really doesnot matter, in the end chakra itself can be considered "borrowed" from the kyubi since it is part of the juubi ( the progenitor of chakra). - In a really roundabout way Sasuke's chakra abilities come from tailed beasts, or at least the amalgamation of them.
However, if you were to compare Naruto and Sasuke, it's been indicated that Naruto can control " a larger quantity of chakra"
In the end power is power, I really could care less how you get it or how many people you can "solo"-Considering a popular theme in the manga is dedicated to working in teams ( by giving out biju cloaks Naruto is one of the best teamates out there) and allowing others to help.

Why does it even matter? Yes Kurama power is not Naruto's own, as in not in his genes, or whatever, but he still had to master it. Sasuke too had to master all his skills. But you can say that a character's power is not their own if they were born with superior genes/beneficial mutation/something. They still have to train to actually use all that. Naruto characters all train at least. I mean look at, say, Elizabeth in BioShock Infinite. She has all her powers and is a trans-dimensional being or something simply because her finger was split between dimensions. That is all. She didn't have to train/learn/work for being OP as she is. And that's not the only example of such things in fiction, I'm sure of it.

BTW, I'm neither a Naruto or Sasuke fan. I like them equally. I just don't get why people make such a big deal out of whether power is borrowed or not. Also, it' not like Naruto stole Kurama. And it wasn't always easy for him to live with it.

I just don't understand why they make it a big deals themselves. So I stuck it to them so they can deal with it.

I'm not wrong. You went completely off topic with the main intention of this thread. Naruto powers stems from the Kyuubi and it's borrowed/gift. Sasukes stems from EMS stolen/taken gifted whatever but not borrowed. Which is the main focus because it's a term thrown around pretty loosely. You admitted you were wrong as well U.O.E.N.O

kushina was a perfect jin she had monstrous high chakra reserve even by uzumaki stadards, her chakra was the only one that could fully suppressed 100% kurama.
