I was just thinking how much it would suck to fight itachi while trying not to look in his eyes while he has totsaka, and can easily just do a cartwheel putting his eyes where his feet were. And beeing able to summon susanoo in that same movement

OP mentioned someone fighting Itachi without the use of their eyes, something Kabuto has already done. So it does not matter if he already 'got his ass handed to him'. It's not like Itachi would be able to use Izanami anyways if he was alive, he was benefited due to Edo Tensei.
