I have an excel file which is password protected. I have forgotten its password. It there anyway I can bypass, remove or get the password of that file?

P.S: This is not about protected worksheets.

I tried it but it said it doesnt support the encryption format:

I think the encryption format is AES 128 bit.

Thx anyway. But you can suggest another method if you have.

Try john the ripper or any brute forcing tool.Google about it.Not sure it could work with excel files though.
