I actually like it. The negatives were forcing Google + onto people or they can't comment and the spammers in the comments. I like the notification system and the longer comments. However, I can see why people who make a living off of youtube, like connecting with the audience (Not the casual Youtube, but someone who gets thoudands of views/comments), or use notifications a lot may dislike this update.
