You do realise that shadow clones split your chakra evenly, right? If you make 1 clone, you chakra reserve is split in half. If you make 2, it's split in 3 and so on. Using this type of strategy in battle could be costly in the end if it were to be used in a waste especially when he stated himself that Hiraishin is slower with clones

Another thing ppl need to take into consideration is how smart he is and his observational skills, Tobirama notices everything, like how he knew to teleport the mini juubi bomb away from Minato, or the fact that he was the first to realize obito was nullifying ninjutsu, and again when he realized the toad oil wasn't being nullified.

Mei is nice, but Tobirama outclasses her in almost every way.

I'm not creating a scenario where he leaves the mark on the shadow clones and teleports to them when he's in danger, I'm talking about him creating 2 or 3 shadow clones and have them tag the battlefield while he's fighting. Plus Tobirama is a Senju, he's fought for a whole day b4, running out of chakra should be the least of his problems actually
