If Sakura were to win in an epic fight with no help what so ever. Would that solve any problem that people would have with her??? People say that she's a poorly written character. By giving her the spotlight and a spark of badassness... would you think differently about her? If I could give a scenario if you will... If Kishi were to have another strong female among the akatsuki that happened to isolate Sakura from the rest and for there to be a battle. What would you say?

That is much needed for her. As a main character, she dosent seem like she would be able to battle a strong opponent without the help of another comrade. She needs a 1v1 battle to really showcase her skills and knowledge.

Sakura's character isn't supposed to fight. That's what people don't understand. She's a healer! Orihime from Bleach is a healer but she's not a total B*$%*% so people like her. Sakura's personality type doesn't go well with her role in their world, but to each their own. I like Sakura! She's smart, she's brave and she has talent. However, she's just a regular human like Lee. She has accomplished much for her character's place in the show.

this^ i would probably still not like her, sadly her clan has no special feats. She is but a regular Shinobi. All that she has learned can be duplicated with another Female character.
Unless they are really skilled then no. Shizune failed to master the seal that Tsuna taught her. Sakura is special in her own right.

Maybe. My distaste for Sakura isn't because of her lack of fights in the manga but if it boosts her character during the fight, I'm all for it.

That is where the problem lies with most.
She has nothing unique that makes her stand out among the crowd and for a main character that is a fail.

And when i say unique i don't mean it has to be a KKG.

You summed it up perfectly

She is a watered down tsunade at this point.
Will she be more powerful then her later on ? Most likely.
At his point in the manga (Where it actually matters) she has nothing.

She doesn't have tsunades raw strength.
She doesn't have creation rebirth nor can she uses the final stage of the Strength of a Hundred Seal

All she knows so far is the initial part and the yin seal which releases the pint up chaka within the Strength of a Hundred Seal and lets it flow through the body, which she uses to enhance her strength, nothing more.

And she knows remote healing justu.

Honestly I have more personality issues than power issues.

She got WAY better in part II... But that Kate Summit arc was a series of bad calls.

But as a heroine she could have used it! Since a lot of people only care for power... It would've helped her out.

Maybe Lol, sadly she cant, she doesn't have strength to take on strong female opponents such as conan or male opponents like naruto, if she can win against them then i would agree.

I don't understand people having a problem with her personality, i mean, have you ever read a shounen manga before?

The heroine tends to be kind of bossy and aggressive to the hero when he act in a pervert way or as a child. Also, the main heroine, in the case she fights, is never at the same level with the hero...
Tell me 1 heroine in a main stream shounen manga that wasn't saved by anyone.... plz...

One Piece, Soul Eater, FMA & Attack on Titan all do MUCH better jobs with their female leads so that's no excuse. Kishi doesn't have to abide to a bad shonen cliche if he doesn't want to. Kishi has been quoted to have said he purposely wrote Sakura to be unlikeable.

One piece? Really? I don't watch One piece, but didn't Nami and Nico Robin were kidnapped in different arcs, did they? The male heroes had to saved them... Not to mention, Nami is the classic punching heroine...

FMA?? I did watch that anime, are you talking about Winry? What did she do but repairing Edward? She was kind of the "healer", but only for the main character.

Soul Eater would be a valid example if Maka wasn't the Protagonist of the series, she is the Main Heroine, so it is reasonable that she is strong as her comrades. Even though, i remember her throwing Black Star a book in his face, and getting angry with Soul in a humorous way, so she has some of the typical heroine as well...

Attack on titan is not a main stream shounen anime, and I think Soul Eater isn't either... right?

I never read that from Kishi, but I did read this stuff that is on Narutopedia:
"Despite being the heroine of the series, Kishimoto original didn't intend to have Sakura become the heroine, saying on occasions that he sometimes has a hard time viewing her as one, and attributes this to lack experience and him being unable to draw good heroine characters but grew fond of Sakura nonetheless. During the 2010 interview many who work with Kishimoto have stated Hinata would have made a better heroine than Sakura, however, Kishimoto said that despite not being portrayed like one Sakura would be showing a more heroine side of her from then on."
But i also read that is completely false...

And this would be the proper translation:
I have been told by other people*that Sakura isn't acting like a heroine, or that Hinata is more of a heroine than her, but if I think of it Sakura really has the strength of a heroine inside her, and from here on out she’s ready to show it, too.
