As for Minato - it was war. No one can save everyone. If Obito and rin were depending upon being saved no matter what they should have stayed home. Survivor's guilt and feeling responsible for your mates is one thing. Being blamed by others for something you have no real control ever is rather silly.

Minato shouldn't even be responsible, he had other problems, and Kakashi was a Jonin...Why was Minato even responsible?

I don't understand why Naruto would be using a chakra based tech on a Rinnegan user, but wait for Kishi to show the reason behind it before bashing it. It could be a brilliant twist, or a piece of sh!t idea based completely on plot, we have to wait and see. And is it a surprise he's doing an asspull? That's been Naruto's platform this entire arc. He was able to pull off a Choodoma Rasengan in normal mode before and a similar Rasenshuriken in his KCM

And Minato did blame himself

I don't think he completed failed with this arc, it was just a lot of talk, the talk no jutsu, the punch no jutsu, the random power up for sakura.

How do you fail an arc when it is your own story? It makes no bloody sense. To fail something there needs to be a rubric.

He brought them out all right.... To the detriment of their reputation, they did serve a purpose....

And now as a result of Kishi’s discussion to do so, people’s perceptions of most characters are forever tainted.
