Able to get a hot thread with at least 4 pages.

- Make a thread trashing about sakura/sasuke/naruto/kakashi or any top 10.
- Make a thread saying Naruto -> Sasuke , Sasuke -> Your fav, Sasuke -> Naruto, Sakura -> Hinata, Hinata -> Sakura.
- Make a thread saying Itachi solos the whole NV without even trying.
- Make a thread about Naruhina vs NaruSaku
- Invite Uchicha Macho and Femme to your threads = At least 5 pages of drama.

You have to have a topic that's either controversial, offensive, or something very interesting about the manga in order to get hot threads. Sadly, topics that people take offense to is usually the quickest way to a hot thread. Either that, or you can be a biased user who makes a fanboy/fangirl thread and you'll get replies of people trying to correct you. The same happens if you ask a stupid question. Works every time.

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.
Try to enjoy browsing the forum and discussing topics with other members, rather than hoping to make a popular thread. I've only made a few threads throughout my time here, and most of them don't get more than 20 replies or so.

Nonetheless, the key to a good thread is keeping it brief, making sure it looks tidy, and discussing a topic/theory that hasn't been discussed a thousand times before. If you put a lot of research and effort into your threads, they're sure to get some attention.
