When a user uses Inzanami it will be a long time before he can use it again. Senju DNA shortens the am out of time it takes to utilize the ability again.

1. The flashbacks were fillers,except itachi's explanation,as in manga.

2. Since manga says,you don't need MS for izanagi or izanami,so you don't. All that's required is a normal sharingan. The animators messed up.

3. You can't use izanagi in such a way as shown,it's a jutsu which only accounts for the caster himself and thus it's kin,izanami accounts for the person it's been casted upon.

4. You don't need senju dna for casting the jutsu,but to cast the perfect one. The imperfect version used by uchihas without senju dna were capable of turning few seconds of reality into illusion,the imperfect one with senju dna,by danzo was cabable of turning 1 min. of reality into illusion,while the perfect one with senju dna,by Obito,was capable of turning,as many minutes of reality,as needed, into illusion,in this case he turned the whole 5 min. of konan's attack into illusion.

its been confirmed for such a long time now that izanagi can be casted with just a basic sharingan....you dont need senju dna unless you want it to last longer and be better.
