Where are you guys getting this idea?

Everybody is saying "naruto hiatus!" "Naruto hiatus!" "No chapter until New Years!"

I really wanna know how u guys came to this conclusion, I read the whole chapter and at the end it merely says naruto is taking a break next week and resuming in the new issue. Now I don't read shonen jump or the volumes or anything, I merely read the chapters each week when they come out. Does all this have to do with this "issue #1" or what? I'm so confused.

People think "new year" in shounen is actually new year 2014...it's not. The shounen new year is when there's the start of another year of issues, if you get what i mean. At the end of november, each year it starts with issue 1 again, that's what i know...it's kind of difficult to explain. But the main thing is that next week -pause-, in 2 or 3 weeks, new chapter (i heard that it could be december 4th, too, it's not sure)

I think what they mean by new year is Saga change.

Like Pein VS Jiraiya Saga changes to Sasuke vs Itachi Saga.

Like Saby said, the Shounen Jump magazine starts another round of issues at the end of November. Naruto will start up then. So at the end of November/early December Naruto will be back. So like a 2-3 week break.
