If Luffy is defeated by Doflamingo and Zoro defeats Doflamingo would that mean Zoro is stronger than Luffy.
Based in logics I just don't see Luffy defeating Doflamingo. First off he has no means of blocking Doflamingo's over heat technique and how will he counter the string control

Luffy has Haki, and 2nd gear. He doesn't have to tank every hit.

And as for countering, we all know Luffy will get his butt handed to him on the first fight, then after an hour or several days, Luffy will suddenly come back and beat the crap out of Donflamingo. The only enemy Luffy has not ever beaten in his 2nd try is that poison guy from Impel Down. And that's just because touching him = death.

Here's the problem though....



Doflamingo has had to fight the following people: Law, Luffy, even to a degree Fujitora. Whatever shape Luffy leaves Doflamingo in it won't be 100% which means the Doflamingo Zoro beats isn't the Doflamingo Luffy fought.

Just look at Naruto vs Pain... Would Naruto beat Pain if pain had all paths at 100%... The second Deva came back Naruto got wrecked. It took a loss of control due to Hinata to get him saved.... Are you saying SM Naruto > Nagato?! He really isn't.



One on one there isn't a SH or Heart pirate that bests Doflamingo Doflamingo. Which is why Law is fighting him. He will probably be weakened to the point to where Luffy stands a chance.


Luffy has speed and intense armament Haki (not to mention a fire attack of his own). IMO the only technique that'll stop Luffy is the strings... Which are plausibly burnable: thus Luffy had to catch on fire completely (gear second and a full body armament Haki).


But yeah no one in the SH crew has a shot at soloing a full powered Doflamingo right now.

You can't really use ABC logic. Luffy could be a bad matchup against Doffy, while Zoro is a good matchup. On the contrary, Zoro could be a bad matchup against, say, Enel, while Luffy is a perfect matchup.

So...just because Zoro could defeat Doffy (and Luffy couldn't) doesn't make Zoro > Luffy.

2. Sir. Crocodile defeated Luffy twice... IMO should have beat him the last time too if not for Luffy suddenly overpowering blood loss, poison, and suddenly Crocodile's attacks, which can actually drain liquid based on Impel Down and Marineford, are suddenly pushed aside.
