Well, in the anime, it seemed like this was a match people wanted to see, many people were wondering who had the better defense and such so id like to know what everyone else thinks!


Who would win if it was simply in the Chunin exams final rounds

Gaara of the Desert

VS

Neji Hyugga

Neji has all the intel from Rock lees fight with Gaara but Gaara only knows bout the Gentle fists attack style as that was all that was revealed before the finals

Neji has the intent of fate while Gaara has an intent to kill as normal


Shukaku is restricted

I clicked the first, and assumed the second was Rotation. My bad.

Your argument still doesn't hold though. The sand isn't connected like the threads were, so Neji's chakra poke strategy won't do jack.

I fail to see how the second scan saves him from sand coffin when he can't move.

Gaara's sand isn't all connected though. Hitting one area won't deplete the chakra for the whole sand cloud, which there are typically more than one of.

If Neji does that little stunt, he'll deplete all his chakra fast and be a sitting duck for another attack from Gaara.

1st. The Sand Gaara use is only his Goard. I already showed that Neji can cancel chakra base jutsu, like water. So you can't make a claim that only some parts of the sand's chakra will get blocked.

You're missing the point.

The sand isn't all connected. How is hitting the chakra in sand cloud A going to effect the chakra in sand cloud B or C? It's not.

The same priniciple stands. Neji gets buried beneath sand.

Also none of the scans you posted were from Chunin Exams, if you want to play that coin.

I know the sand isn't all connect, all I said that the sand that is stores chakra, is useless against Neji. The sand thats not infuse is alot slower and can easily be read by neji. All of the scans that I post were Gentle style feats, that he could always do.

He'll only drain the chakra from the sand he actually touches. All the rest will eventually envelope him.

And Gaara has always had the ability to control sand.
