Shisui Uchiha is superior to Itachi Uchiha

His eyes seem much darker than Itachi's. You can just tell that he's superior and Itachi's mentor would beat him in a fight.

I too feel that shisui is probably stronger...but not coz his eyes are darker...its because he has the ultimate genjutsu, koto amatsukami...he is also referred to as shunshin no shisui...probably because of his speed...but itachi remains my 2nd fav. character after jiraiya becoz of his sacrifice...

Thats also why, in the end, Shisui decided to give his eye out to Itachi and commit suicide?


Shisui knew he couldnt do anything in the end but trust Itachi to do it all, same goes for the village and the Uchiha. They believe Itachi was the one who could furfill his duty the best.

Hiruzen's praise of Itachi truly displays the respect he had for him. Itachi was ahead of his time, and was ahead of shisui as well. But with this said, Shisui was still a badass, and his Genjutsu was the strongest there was, but that jutsu couldnt be used more than twice a year, opposed to Itachi's tsukuyomi, Amaterasu and Susano.

You could say Shisui is stronger than Itachi twice a decade... but in the end, i'd rather have Itachi covering my ass.

I feel he was at a time, but once Shisui died Itachi naturally surpassed him as a dead person cannot continue to progress. I don't believe at the time Shisui was that far above Itachi. I believe they were virtually equal imho.

it's quite possible because itachi respected and befriended him and itachi wasn't a friendly person so there was something about shishui...! and danzo couldn't have fought him alone...! there were always anbu with him and we don't know how many and sharingan genjutsu doesn't seem to effect multiple targets...! but i think the way they respected each other they must be equals or nearly equals......!
