We did see her dead body. Remember the Obito flash backs, after he killed all of those Kiri ninjas. Don't you remember Obito holding her corpse saying that this world was Hell? For goodness sake, the body is even in the opening of the anime currently.

Lol, but its true. RIn is dead. Not coming back. The whole TNJ which will commence next year shall signify this. Getting over Rin and focusing on other friends, time has passed get over it blah blah
