Does anyone else dislike the new youtube comment section layout? It seems ridiculous and you can no longer check who replied to your comments. It feels like youtube is trying to force you into using social media for their site. I'm honestly kind of annoyed.

Its all because of Google. Google thinks they're smarter and better than you so they do whatever they want, and when they ask for feedback people tell them to change it but they completely ignore us. And now they decided to force Google+ down people's throats *facepalm*.

It's probably the worst change they've ever made. Nothing youtube has done besides changing the rating system has made me want to stop using youtube. I don't think I'll ever leave a comment on youtube again.

Lmao! I also think so too. Everytime I begin to type something, and it gives me all these options, I'm like '**** this shit'.

They even have 'top comments' as the default, and that's enough to piss me off before I even type anything, having to switch to the newest.

And you can only comment if you link your channel to Google+. You can also post very long comments, - VERY - long. I don't know the character limit of it though.

I really like it. To me, a casual user, it's pretty cool to post longer comments and the notifications work for me. There are some negatives. Google+ should have never forced itself onto anyone, the new system must SUCK for companies or people who make a living on YT or people who get lots of views, and for now, comments posted before the update cannot be replied to, liked, etc...

That and every other annoying thing to try to rebel against google+. I think that's just uncool for the video uploader and it's probably not gonna help.
