Jounin rank underrated?

Sorry guys this is my last thread for today.

I was just wondering, doesn't it seem like the Jounin rank is underrated? It seems like everybody thinks a ninja is easily Jounin level.

Like for example, would you say Sai is Mid Jounin Level? Most people say he's there but he isn't well rounded enough to actually have the feats of a Jounin.

Do u know what I'm getting at here?

I agree. I think that the Level of Shinobi in Naruto became somewhat of an afterthought during the war, because all people can think and talk about is KAGE level (totally understandable). But to be a jounin you really have to be an exceptional ninja like Kakashi, Gai etc. Most of the Konoha 11 are not on Jounin Level. Only Sasuke and Naruto and maybe Sakura is on that level at the moment or even beyond it like Sannin.

If kakashi gaiden is jonin level then it's not underated. I'm sure sai , neji and all of the rookies will beat gaiden kakashi. And the current power levels have made jonin level a little achievement.

can't say...! actually manga has gone from ninja level to saiyan level...! so the feats that were restricted to jonins, now everybody can show them....! that's why i don't think ninja levels exist or matter anymore....!

Asuma is jonin level and all he do is using infused wind blade chakra with fire release.

People who are exceptionally gifted ninjas or are really strong in their own right are considered to be of jounin rank.

There are people in K11 who by feats have proven to be of jounin rank and Neji is the only one who was officially/canonically graduated to jounin sometime during the timeskip.

People in K11 who are considered by feats to be jonin rank:
Sai (though his high recommendations in ROOT by Danzo give us the notion that he is already of jounin rank)
Lee - has the maturity and the abilities similar to his master(who by feats is considered kage level) though not to the same level of mastery
Sakura - was taught by a sannin and became a powerful ninja close to Tsunade's own level of expertise in the medical field and in combat
Shikamaru - this guy already has the mind of a kage and has developed the maturity and jutsu to help him become more formidable in battle.
Chouji - has mastered the expansion jutsu and his emotions to become one of the strongest ninjas like his father before him
Shino - like Shikamaru he is an analyst but had laced any real offensive ability to be noteworthy. now with more powerful jutsu and insects he is a force to be reckoned with even in CQC.

The rest are likely of a high chuunin level as they have not attained the maturity or power to become a jounin.

The rank is not important, It is the person who is ranked. Sound 4 killed 3 or maybe 4 jounins, Then got beaten up by gennins, and Chunins

Well he does not act immature, a little emotional time to time but who isn't? He gets a grip quiet fast in dire situations, does not lag behind and dedicated to his job. I don't recall him being remotely immature other than beginning of part 1, and it was 3 years ago.
