What are the 6 paths?

I been thinking about this for a while now. Take a look at these scans,

Obito clearly stated that Uchiha and Senju are each a path, being the first and second paths,

Then obito went on to state Nagato being the 3rd path,

Senju

Uzumaki

Could it be that the Senju, uchiha and Uzumaki's are all part of the sage's heritage including 3 other unknown clans that make up 6?

Or could this mean something else? What do you think?

at first i thought so too but then i realized it was just the way obito talked about it.

what he meant in the first picture was probably that two parts of the SO6P are joined together...so he meant that madara became like the sage...

in the second picture he probably meant that nagato was the third SO6P in a way.....sage had the rinnegan,madara had it...and nagato had it

I think two was referring to them being two halfs of Hagoromo as far as I can tell. I don't see it necessarily meaning 2/6 of him. Obito refers to Nagato as the third person to wield both of the Rinnegan. (Madara being 2nd and Hagaromo being the first).

But, Kimmimaro does have a unique body which can be compared to a Sage's body (Hax durability). Plus his regeneration might even be comparable to Tsuande, he removed his spinal cord while making another one in the process.

Hmm thats indeed impressive. I would say his clan has something to do with the sage. It could be watered down from the 6 main clans if we are to believe this theory.

Sage himself was the one to wield the Rinnegan, then how is he in the list?

Because Sage got those eyes because of the God Tree, Juubi, from his birth. SO he's the first Sage of the Six Paths.

Two clans =Senju and Uchiha
Two Bloodlines = Sharingan and Mokuton

I think he meant like combining those two (Uchiha and Senju) gets you the sages power, and when obito said nagato was the 3rd path he meant nagato had the power of Rikudo.
