Last I checked the 4th's control of sand was only slightly slower than Gaara's.

It is 7 times heavier than the regular sand, ofc it is slower and harder to control.

This isn't Gaara, dude. The Yondaime's defense isn't automatic, he needs to manipulate the sand with his hands. Furthermore he has no sand gourd, this means he has to extract the sand from the ground. Mei wins this, every other outcome is impossible, unless the location is a desert.

Wouldn't Mei's Lava Style render the Gold Dust useless? Also it would be difficult for the Kazekage to fight in acid mist. I can't see Mei losing this

Wouldn't Mei's Lava Style render the Gold Dust useless? Also it would be difficult for the Kazekage to fight in acid mist. I can't see Mei losing this

Lava is 650-800 °C at the surface. Golds melting point if 1,064 °C. I don't see lava affecting it.

It won't affect the gold, but it will affect his use of it.

Im surprised you havn't argued about the location yet or gone in depth about some of the disadvantages the Kazekage has.

First and foremost, he seems to have to enter a type of "Sage Mode" if you will (not saying its Sage Mode per se but the application is similar.), to use Gold Dust. As, the only time's we've seen him manipulate it, he has been in this changed "Mode" that has the lines around his eyes.

There's also the Location, He quite obviously got the amount of Gold Dust he used against Gaara from the location.

I didn't want to make a detailed post. Was just responding to that obvious troll.

I agree with you, however. What people sometimes misconstrue is that Gaara's dad works just like him, and they don't factor in his many drawbacks that gaara doesn't possess.
