It begins...

Darui gazes at his opponent before him for several seconds before starting off his assault, Darui gathers a great amount of his chakra while also performing 3 quick hand seals at first and then releases the chakra and focuses it into the mind of Nightwing in order to place him within an illusion, as the illusion is cast, Darui makes Nightwing see a mass of clouds descending from the sky and maintain a stationary position all around Nightwing, he would not be able to see anything around him, and surely cannot see Darui, even if he should wander through the clouds nothing else would be seen, until nightwing would eventually become drowsy and start to feel tired, should the illusion not be released correctly, in reality, Darui sees as his opponent is caught in the illusion and takes this time to launch a full on fatal attack to end it quickly, Darui performs a quick set of hand seals and proceeds to cocus his storm chakra into the ground all around Nightwing, Darui then causes tentacle shaped ropes of storm to burst forth from the ground and wrap all around Nightwing as well as continually shocking and paralyzing his entire body, the ropes would also be manipulated by Darui into dragging Nightwings body into the ground, and this is where Darui performs a hand seal and begins to gather his earth chakra before channeling it directly into the ground just beneath Nightwings feet, causing a pit of sorts to take form that would allow Nightwing to be dragged into before closing up and attempting to bury Nightwing alive.

The opponent will be standing, staring directly in front of him without being able to perceive it's surrounding while under this genjutsu, allowing one to attack.

Description: The user performs the Ram hand seal and causes causes the ground and everything on and around it to be sucked in towards the middle of a large pit, much like the method an antlion uses to catch prey. Upon being dragged to the centre, the victim will then be sucked underground. There the victim, depending on how deep the user makes them sink, will be trapped and/or suffocated. The range of the pit is determined by how much chakra is put into the technique.

As the famous cloud ninja Darui begins to gaze at me, I stare back evenly matching his gaze. Suddenly, he begins to form handseals, I would be on guard. As he finishes his handseals, and points at me I would suddenly see clouds forming out of nowhere. The clouds would surround me, and make me drowsy. Immediately, I am suspicious. How are these clouds suddenly coming down? How come I am suddenly feeling tired? All these things make me suspect that this is a genjutsu. Without hesitation, I would immediately channel my chakra throughout my body and make one single almost instantaneous handseal. This breaks me from the illusion.

Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.

As I break the illusion, I would see you performing a set of handseals. Again, being very cautious I would see you perform several handseals. As you are doing the handseals, I am already channeling earth chakra into the ground below me. You then stomp your feet, and as you do I would materialize an earthern pillar, which would launch me towards you at a precise 55 degree angle. This would also of course make me avoid your antlion technique, because I land about 5 meters away from you (short range).

(Doton No Jutsu) - Earth Release Technique

As I land, I would also make the ram and tiger handseals and create a twenty meters deep swamp below you, while also making it four meters deep in diameter. The swamp is extremely deep, and this would make it impossible for you to use the earth to avoid this jutsu.

Description: The user will first perform Boar → Tiger and then by changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a non flammable swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.

I don't mind at all, everyone is free to RP the way they want , and about your move, it seems a bit like a timeframe gamble, I personally think that the storm tentacles would have erupted from the ground and make its way around your body just as you would be forming the pillar, so you would probably still make contact with the tentacles as you would be attempting to shoot yourself away, but I don't wanna have the first move checked so I will just move on from your move.

While watching his opponent flick into the air and perform a couple of hand seals, Darui starts feeling the ground beneath his feet softening in what seems to be of a type of muddy form, He then performs a single handseal and places his right hand onto the ground channeling his earth chakra through his body and into the ground, causing the mud to become petrified and solid again, Darui then while already having his hand on the ground, slams his left hand onto the ground along with his right hand, causing a 5 meter block of earth from just a meter before him to be lowered 10 meters deep, this could also somehow cause Nightwing to loose his footing as the earth quickly drops, with the ground lowered just before Darui, he quickly kneads chakra inside his body and converts it in fire chakra, he then releases the fire chakra from his mouth and forms it into a large stream of intense and blazing hot flames, that easily smothers the entire lowered trench of earth along with Nightwing in it, possibly roasting him to a crisp.

One interesting side effect of the technique is that when its used on wood based techniques (such as Zetsu's spore clones or normal wood), the infusion of large amounts of earth chakra into it will actually petrify the target in addition to increasing its weight. A similar effect can be achieved in other earthen materials such as mud. The user can also add weight to a given attack (if feasible) to increase both momentum and impact force, effectively adding damage to it.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.

As you make the snake handseal, I begin to channel chakra into my eyes. The chakra becomes more and more intense, and suddenly surges into my eyes all at once. This causes the veins in my eyes to become much larger and more pronounced, this increases the rate and amount of blood flow into my eyes. The result would be the activation of my Byakugan.

(Dōjutsu: Byakugan) Eye Technique: The All Seeing White Eye

Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Byakugan is the kekkei genkai of the Hyuga clan. Bearers of this Dõjutsu have almost featureless white eyes. When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge as the blood flow to their eyes is increased. While having the Byakugan deactivated, Hyuga ninjas have a normal eyesight and no special addition to their vision. While low rank Hyugas will need to perform a sequence of hand seals ( Horse → Tiger with lifting just index fingers → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Snake with the right index finger lifted straight up) to activate their Byakugan, Hyuga masters will be able to do so without the need for any hand seals and even have it active passively for long periods of time. Once activated, the user gains access to all of the abilities the Byakugan bestows upon them. While, like other Dojutsu, its main ability is to see chakra and the chakra flow in sentient beings, the Byakugan adds a complete new detail and dimension to that ability. The user can not only see chakra and the chakra flow, but also the circulatory system and even the 361 tenketsu. Added to this ability, once activated the Byakugan grants the user a near perfect field of vision 360º around himself (up to long-range if he's a master). This field of vision has only one blind spot, slightly above the 3rd thoracic vertebrae and facing backwards but enables the user to actually even see his own chakra circulatory system and chakra flow, which explains why all Hyuugas are so adept and masterfull of precise chakra control. The last ability the Byakugan has is the ability to zoom in and out, focusing on specific things, piercing beyond matter and energy alike, as well as chakra. This specific ability allows the user to see pass most barriers as well as physical matter (like rock walls, ground, etc) but also energy, being able to focus beyond chakra that might be in front of them or other energies. The zooming ability is enhanced as the user becomes more adept at using his eyes and can even reach distances above 20kms away. Some Hyugas have shown a great awareness regarding agressiveness as well as killing intent, detecting such intentions and emotions from others with more ease than most.
Note: Activation spends a move from the users own move count but once the user reaches Sannin Rank and has gained mastery over Gentle Fist for 1 month, he can activate it passively without spending a move. Because of its low chakra cost to maintain, the user can keep it active throughout the whole fight as long as he has chakra and stamina to do so.
Note: Genjutsu that requires Eye Contact when used against a Byakugan user requires direct eye contact between enemy pupil and user's pupil
Note: Must be activated to use Gentle Fist (Jyuken)
Note: Cannot be blinded by matter, chakra, light or energy

With my keen eyes tracking you, I would see you lower your second hand almost in slow motion and see you channel chakra into my feet. The earth would suddenly lower, but being prepared I seamlessly emit chakra from the tenketsu in my feet, using the chakra to keep myself upright. I then see you through my byakugan perform a high level fire technique, seeing the scale of the technique a plan surfaces, like a fish in a pond. As you blow the fire, I would wait until it had almost hit me. Of course, the fire would not allow you to see me at all. I would then merge into the ground, and move through the ground at extremely fast speeds moving upwards to your last known location as you had not moved. I would emerge behind you extremely quietly, not disturbing the earth and of course you would think I was dead, so why would you turn around? I emerge extremely close to you, mere inches but I hold my breath not making even the slightest sound.

(Doton: Dochū Eigyo no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Underground Projection Fish Technique

Description: Using this jutsu, a person can hide underground until they're ready to attack an opponent. By utilizing earth-chakra, the person can stealthily emerge from the ground without disrupting the ground around him. This jutsu can also be used to avoid incoming jutsus.

I would then as quickly as I could thrust my right palm forwards at such speed, and as I do would emit high pressured chakra from the tenketsu in my palm. This would send a highly pressurized bullet of air through the air, but as it hit you , you would most likely be immensely surprised. The air bullet would strike you in the center of your chest, aimed directly at the heart. However, that would not be all. I would follow through striking the exact same area with a powerful palm thrust as I emit chakra from my tenketsu, this would cause immense internal damage to your heart, and would most likely kill you instantly. This would all happen extremely quickly, my hands appearing as a blur, and at such a close range you would be very hard pressed to react.

(Hakke Kuushou) - 8 Trigrams Air Palm

Darui stops releasing the stream of flames after a couple of seconds of firing it directly into the altered section of earth, and wonders for a moment whether or not he had caught his opponent in the intense flames or not, Darui then glances down just as he was about to lift up one of his feet to walk towards the altered section of earth, and just there notices a shadow being cast before him that seemingly rises sort of from the ground, signaling a matter of danger right behind Darui(I would assume that you rise rather slowly to not make any type of noise as you emerge from the ground, because should you emerge fast, being that close to me, I would hear you emerge as well as feel your presence behind me almost immediately.), he then swiftly harnesses the earths electrical fields from the earth beneath and surrounding his feet and generates electricity from it, allowing him to nearly instant perform a quick step towards his right, bouncing slightly off of his left foot in a rather fancy motion, Darui would then move to just inside of short range from Nightwing but to his right allowing the blast of air to miss its target, he then quickly performs the hand seals Ram → Dog and places Nightwing witin an illusion, Nightwing would then be made to see and believe that his stomach has just been slashed open, Being it that Darui was able to shoot to his right almost instantly with the use of Arrow step, it would seem possible for him to have sliced open the stomach of Nightwing in a just as instantaneous manor, furthermore within the illusion, Nightwing is compelled to disembowel himself with his hands because of the dreadful effects of this illusion, Since vital organs are being pulled out from his stomach in the process, Nightwing will believe that he is dying but in reality is in shock and unable to move, with Nightwing seemingly paralyzed in reality, Darui takes this time to launch a full own fatal attack, he starts gathering his storm release chakra while performing 3 quick hand seals and channels the storm chakra to his right and dominant fist, the storm chakra is then manipulated into taking the form of large storm eagle wings that sprout outwards from Darui's right arm and hand, he then punches forward towards Nightwing and releases the storm eagle wings, shooting it forward as quickly as a large eagle would fly towards its prey.

Description: By harnessing the earth's electrical fields to generate electricity, this works as long as the user's legs are connected to the earth. When in use, this allows the user to nearly instantly to close short distances and strike within the same motion. Usable at distances of several feet or less, this allows one to deliver an electrically charged palm thrust should it connect. If no contact is made between the ground and the user's legs, this is unusable. There is a downside as the user cannot change directions once the technique is initiated, thus allowing a more skilled opponent to dodge if they see it coming.

"Illusionary Arts: Dreadful Evisceration is a terrifying technique that strikes fear into the hearts of all who witness it. It was originally developed for the purposes of judicial execution, but was soon adapted by ninja for use in battle." After the hand seals Ram → Dog, the opponent will be placed in a genjutsu. The opponent will believe that their stomach is getting cut open. The victim is then compelled to disembowel himself with their hands because of the of the effects of this Genjutsu. Since vital organs are being pulled out from said stomach in the process the opponent will believe that he is dying but in reality is in shock and unable to move.
Notes:
- Can only be used twice per-match.
- Have to wait two turns before it can be used again.
- No Genjutsu next turn.
- Can only be taught by Nathan.

Description: The user gathers and focuses a large amount of his storm chakra to his dominant hand and arm after performing 3 hand seals and creates an eagle of storm with large expanded wings, the Storm wings would sprout outwards from the users arm, making it seem as if the users arm has transformed into the storm wings, but instead its just the storm itself that takes shape around the users arm, the user could utilize the storm eagle at close range for a single close combat fatal attack or manipulate the storm eagle to shoot outwards to great distances to attack at long range, the speed of the flying eagle is on par with the speed of the lazer circus technique, though when the storm eagle is shot into long range it only goes straight toward the position it was aimed at, when the target/opponent comes into contact with the storm eagle, it would numb their entire body and/or electrocute him/her.
Note - Can only be used once per battle
- Cannot use any storm techniques in the same turn as well as the following
- The user won't be able to mold chakra above A Rank for the turn after this technique is used
- The size of the storm wings are approximately 2 meters in length, maximum.
- The storm wings cannot be used for flight.

Darui stops releasing the stream of flames after a couple of seconds of firing it directly into the altered section of earth, and wonders for a moment whether or not he had caught his opponent in the intense flames or not, Darui then glances down just as he was about to lift up one of his feet to walk towards the altered section of earth, and just there notices a shadow being cast before him that seemingly rises sort of from the ground, signaling a matter of danger right behind Darui(I would assume that you rise rather slowly to not make any type of noise as you emerge from the ground, because should you emerge fast, being that close to me, I would hear you emerge as well as feel your presence behind me almost immediately.), he then swiftly harnesses the earths electrical fields from the earth beneath and surrounding his feet and generates electricity from it, allowing him to nearly instant perform a quick step towards his right, bouncing slightly off of his left foot in a rather fancy motion, Darui would then move to just inside of short range from Nightwing but to his right allowing the blast of air to miss its target, he then quickly performs the hand seals Ram → Dog and places Nightwing witin an illusion, Nightwing would then be made to see and believe that his stomach has just been slashed open, Being it that Darui was able to shoot to his right almost instantly with the use of Arrow step, it would seem possible for him to have sliced open the stomach of Nightwing in a just as instantaneous manor, furthermore within the illusion, Nightwing is compelled to disembowel himself with his hands because of the dreadful effects of this illusion, Since vital organs are being pulled out from his stomach in the process, Nightwing will believe that he is dying but in reality is in shock and unable to move, with Nightwing seemingly paralyzed in reality, Darui takes this time to launch a full own fatal attack, he starts gathering his storm release chakra while performing 3 quick hand seals and channels the storm chakra to his right and dominant fist, the storm chakra is then manipulated into taking the form of large storm eagle wings that sprout outwards from Darui's right arm and hand, he then punches forward towards Nightwing and releases the storm eagle wings, shooting it forward as quickly as a large eagle would fly towards its prey.

The opponent will believe that their stomach is getting cut open. The victim is then compelled to disembowel himself with their hands because of the of the effects of this Genjutsu. Since vital organs are being pulled out from said stomach in the process the opponent will believe that he is dying but in reality is in shock and unable to move.

Description: The user gathers and focuses a large amount of his storm chakra to his dominant hand and arm after performing 3 hand seals and creates an eagle of storm with large expanded wings, the Storm wings would sprout outwards from the users arm, making it seem as if the users arm has transformed into the storm wings, but instead its just the storm itself that takes shape around the users arm, the user could utilize the storm eagle at close range for a single close combat fatal attack or manipulate the storm eagle to shoot outwards to great distances to attack at long range, the speed of the flying eagle is on par with the speed of the lazer circus technique, though when the storm eagle is shot into long range it only goes straight toward the position it was aimed at, when the target/opponent comes into contact with the storm eagle, it would numb their entire body and/or electrocute him/her.
Note - Can only be used once per battle
- Cannot use any storm techniques in the same turn as well as the following
- The user won't be able to mold chakra above A Rank for the turn after this technique is used

How am I god modding? If I release the stream and it goes into the altered section of earth, I would assume that it had hit its target just there and stop releasing the technique, I am on guard and not a stupid shinobi, who would continuously release a stream of fire for no given reason after you see that it wasn't countered at all, and I don't know about the rest of you guys but everytime I am stationary, and walk forward, I first glance down at the ground real quickly and then start walking, that is what I stated, I do not believe myself to have god modded, the details seem well enough for me, and not to speak, should Vex have emerged from the ground at a fast pace, being so close to me(as stated in his descripition) I would sure as hell heard him and/or felt his presence behind me.

The fights will be judged soon and I will ask a sensei that isn't my sensei nor Vex's to judge this fight.

I was asked for a second opinion, and I'm somewhere in the middle. Although the seeing the shadow part is actually a form of metagaming, the fire part is what I disagree with. Based on this situation, every time someone waited for the last second to be hit could merge with the ground and act as if dead and every time the opponent stopped the move, it would be metagaming. Why? You obviously know that your opponent is not dead but you can't simply act as if he was and go away, because it would be an instant win for the merged ninja because the opponent would be unaware. What I mean is that, you can't judge him from stopping his fire because it's a normal reaction to do. Once I shot you with a gun in the head, I won't continue shooting until I blow your brains out because I'm pretty sure one bullet is enough.

However, looking down and seeing the shadow is debatable. Vex could've said that the sun is shining from the opposite direction and that you would only see your shadow and not his or anything like that, just to make the amount of metagaming equal, thus I believe that form of realization to be indeed flawed. Were you to say that you heard his chakra air bullet swooshing through the air just as you stopped the fire, I'd accept it, but this way I can't sorry. So in general, I agree with NK. You'd be hit with the bullet but I don't think it's that game breaking. I'm not a Hyuuga expert but I'm pretty sure that technique can't do too much in terms of damage. Correct me if I'm wrong.

That's a video of the jutsu. I don't know if it would be fatal, but I think it would do a lot of damage, since it was aimed directly at the heart and from point blank. Plus, I do follow through and deliver a freeform palm strike to the same area (which probably wouldn't do much damage).

Yes, it looks large but it's blunt, not sharp. Hitting the heart doesn't differ from hitting anywhere around his torso because it's quite big. Also, because of the knock-back effect, I'm sure you wouldn't be able to follow up with the other punches. He'd be blown back, feeling some effects like pain and heavy breathing but not killed, that's for sure. Either way, I don't think this needs more discussion. If this is to be judged finally, then due to Vex landing a hit, I guess the winner is quite obvious. o-o
