it maybe just after black flag. but it's interesting to know. will the next one be another one of desmond's ancestors and dealing with continuity issues from going from the american revolution to the golden age of piracy. I think it will just jump back and forth. because the next game or the one after that is definitely going to be during the french revolution.
"and please don't go "no we've already played during the american revolution"

the american and french revolutions were very different! yes both were uprisings going against monarchy rule. this takes place in the massive city of paris where buildings were that of venice italy "anyone". this technically wasn't army vs. army. Each person that was executed via "gullotine" (the weapon of torture that cuts your head off) can be used as a "target"

assassin's and templar groups weren't founded until the crusades. so it's then to now. so what other major event happened between then and now that hasn't been explored. There's no other event that is "as" important than the french revolution.

Also what did you think of black flag?

Imperial china or maybe Japan would be good scenarios to play out an Assassin's creed game.

ummm. a few problems sir. one there needs to be targets. all targets are real people (historical people) that have died at the same place at the same time. every AC game has been that way and there's no real targets I can think of???? second, this is between templars and assassin's that originated in eastern europe and around the mediterranean sea. how can the crusades be linked to china and japan? know your history before giving an answer. (sorry I sound like a d!ck right now) but I'm being honest.

Though not official, the director said he wanted the next one to take place in ancient Egypt

Bro, sniper only holding.

when it comes for the assassin team to come up with a setting and time period for the next game. there needs to be targets. I would find it very difficult to make a game like that during WW1 or 2. You see every specific person you killed in assassin's creed was a real person that existed in history. I don't think it would be possible to create such a game. Out of all respect though. but I don't want an assassin's creed game to be like Call of Duty with a hidden blade.

and here i thought they've already gave a solid hint that the next one will either be in INDIA or CHINA based on a novel.

i finished black flag today i got it on pre order so i took my time got all the collectables and enjoyed the pirate theme eg ship battles.
Ive played all the assassin creed games and have loved each main characters in there own ways but and its only a little but as i kept playing as edward, the more and more i disliked him.
Now let me explain(without giving anything away)edward mainly whats to be a pirate and thats what he was and a dam good one at that but I felt edwards story as a assassin was just beginning
Anyway i think a good setting for the next one would be maybe going through daniel cross dna and finally get to play as russian mofo assassin Nikolai Orelov.
His story is as good as any assassin out there and it would bring his story to the people who dont read comics

Well from how I understand it, there are still several AC games to come as the creator would enjoy an ancient Egypt AC, and from how I understand from the computer hackings your capable of doing (in ACIV), there is a strong chance the next AC will take place in a more "modern" time as compared to the latest ones, with that revolving around World War II. But if you actually think about it, any of AC games could go in absolutely ANY direction. Though I must admit my favorite line so far is the Kenway family, and I would have enjoyed a game where you played at Haythem while he was growing up, yes we know his beginning, and we know his end, and for those that read the comics we even know his middle and how he became the templar he was (though his old man would most likely be rolling in his grave had he found out what his son had became lol)

But personally what I love about the AC games is that they don't make the "Assassin's" to be the clean cut good guys, the are what I would call a "necessary" evil in the world, because without them the world would have been much much different lol.

But the thing that leads me to believe that there are at least 2-3 more games coming for AC is.......(Spoiler)

What Juno told us when we saw that crazy ***** yet again, how she said we have yet to acquire half the pieces or something along those lines.

Here is the reason Edward is my favorite character as compared to the other main characters in Assassin's Creed consoles series......

AC 1: Altiar - Badass, who was out for redemption to prove himself a badass (but couldn't swim lol)

AC 2: Ezio - The beginning of a legendary Badass, out for revenge

AC Brotherhood: Ezio - Continuation of a badass's story to legendary status, now in control of his own small army of assassin's

AC Revelations: Ezio - The final tale of an old badasses story (the milked the shit out of Ezio imo)

AC 3: Conner (not willing to type his other name lol) - Don't get me wrong he was an awesome character but......to bland? maybe he just seemed to "matter of fact" kinda deal to me there was only black and white no middle ground with him, but gave birth to a family history of awesomeness.

AC 4 Black Flag: Edward - Simply put, Badass, a man who wasn't trained by any Assassin, hell had no idea who the hell the Assassin's or the Templar's were until he was 25 years old, and didn't join the Assassin's until he was 28-29, and even then already knew everything the Assassin's would have taught him movement, and killing wise. He mainly fought for his own well being and what he thought was right, not giving two shits about what any thought, until he wanted to to, and the entire time he was trying to make a better living for him and his wife. Also on a personal matter.....Pirate+Assassin=Unbeatable (BRING ON YOUR EZIO'S!!!!!!!!!! They are nothing but cannon fodder to an Assassin Pirate Captain!!!!! U_U)

speaking of the AC series did anyone else use to have issues falling through the map in the last missions of AC1 when youre running through the chaotic city filled of templars?

Also Altair's #1 hes the essence of a gutsy murderer
