How powerful do you reckon Minato was at Naruto's current age?

Obviously he didn't have the Kyuubi, but how powerful do you think he was at this stage?

Minato was a genin when he single-handily took down the cloud ninjas who tries taking Kushia/Kurama and knowing the Cloud village, they would have sent Jounin level ninjas. What else makes me think they were high level ninjas such as jounin level is that A even mentioned it when he first saw Minato and was impressed which as we know A doesn't get impressed easily.

16? If he has his Flying Thunder God technique at that age then he's pretty damn powerful, probably at kage level by then. His base speed was already insane when he rescued Kushina. I doubt he would have created the Rasengan by the time he was 16 though, so there's that.

You could say Minato developed more so like Shikimaru than Naruto.

Minato died young, so he most likely got that moniker in his teens. At, about, 10 he shat on those chunnin-jounin kidnappers that came for kushina. Guy was a bigger beast than Naruto by far. Take away Kyuubi and naruto's near fodder. 17 year old minato would most likely easily compete with an SM naruto.
