South Park is an American adult animated sitcom created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the Comedy Central television network. Intended for mature audiences, the show has become famous for its crude language and dark, surreal humor that satirizes a wide range of topics. The ongoing narrative revolves around four boys—Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick—and their bizarre adventures in and around the titular Colorado town.

This is one of my favourite shows. In rank of satirizng this world's topic, i find it much better than the Simpsons and Family Guy. Currently, I am ending season 16, and soon, I am on the season 17..

What do guys think about this show? :)

I love how people think shows like Family Guy and South Park are for "adults". Just having *** and language in the show doesn't make it for adults. An adult show needs a certain aspect of maturity which Family Guy and South park severely lack.

While I somewhat agree, that's not exactly the case. It is aimed at adults. The maturity you speak of that they lack is what makes the two shows comedic. That's the whole point of the shows.

If there is one problem i would cite its when they introduce a joke/gag and proceed to drag it out through the entire episode.
It isn't a isolated incident either they do it all the time.By the five minute mark the joke isn't even funny anymore

The Randy episodes are when i think the show shines best.

All in all its a hit or miss for me.

Either i love the episode or i hate it.

That is the exact definition of adult entertainment.

Unless you been living under a rock.

Children should not be exposed to foul language and sexual material.

With that said if you don't like the material itself then just say so.

However, don't go saying its for kids.

Because its not.

It might have juvenile sense of humor at times but it still covers mature topics and issues that children won't always understand. The Trayvon Martin episode for example, the Space Cash episode. If you don't see the underlying tone/message of the episode they can come across as just crass humor but most episodes especially around and after season 8 have an underlying tone to them behind the ludicrous and vulgar comedy.

OT: I love this show and always have, I was watching this since episode 1 and the only kid on my street who even liked it until around the 3rd season. I have a few things from back in the first season including a Mr. Hankey magnet I won at Regal Cinemas and a cartman Magnet with a quote from the first episode"This whole thing is a plot against me isn't it" and a T-Shirt that I won in a claw machine by a hair at my friends 9th birthday. I have almost every season on dvd only missing 4 or 5 of them.
